Junior Optimist Octagon International, also known as JOOI Club, is composed of a group of students dedicated to serving their community. With the help of Ms. Adcock, the club aids the Raleigh Optimist Club in organizing and publicizing service projects including the Mile of Hope, a Christmas Tree Lot, and an Angel Tree. JOOI Club also works independently to coordinate service events within the Knightdale Community.
Vice President Cammie Perry is excited about the upcoming year, “We plan on doing more community service projects and involving more of the student body.” Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month after school. For more information pertaining to JOOI Club, please see Ms. Adcock in room 2512.
