Andrew Coleman will be playing Travis in the play Paco Peco, which will be performed on Oct. 22-24 at 7pm. Tickets are only five dollars.

Coleman’s character, Travis, is a bit nerdy, but outgoing. Travis even hosts a talent show at his middle school with another student, Mona, played by Deanna Adams. Coleman has also starred as Charlie Bradley in the Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Uncle Henry/the guard in the Wizard of Oz, and will play the part of Moving Earth in Language of Angels. He is even going to be an extra in a music video that will be shown on BET. When he’s not busy acting, Coleman also enjoys swimming and watching television. His advice to other ambitious thespians is to “Keep doing what you’re doing and have fun.” He says that the KHS theatre department has “so much talent” and, “there are great people committed to the theatre.”

Coleman comments on rehearsals as well, saying that, “It’s kind of hectic trying to get everything done perfectly.” In addition, he states, “I feel that the performance will be good if we continue to be consistent with our rehearsals and continue to work hard.”

There is something for everyone in Paco Peco. It is filled with Spanish songs, dancing and so much more. Coleman states, “The kids are going to love it and sing along with it. The adults are going to love it because the kids will be happy.”
